Daniela Friedman (1996), is an architect with a Masters in Urban Design and Urban Planning from The City College of New York. As a young architect she was involved in the growing entrepreneurial architectural & design community in Havana. When she was 20 years old she co-founded her own independent studio called Sindrome Studio, working and exploring in architectural, interior design and art installation projects in Cuba and other countries such as Mexico, Argentina, and the United States. In parallel she worked as a curator of the Design & Architecture Gallery of the Cultural Center “Fábrica de Arte Cubano” (F.A.C.) in Havana, where she also had the opportunity to work with the renowned artist Enrique Rottenberg at the Visual Arts Gallery. 
In collaboration with other creatives, Daniela organized the first international experimental Havana Design Workshop in 2018 at the studio of prominent visual artist Wilfredo Prieto. Moving to New York she worked at Terreform, a non-profit Urban Research Center & Publisher with architect Michael Sorkin in Soho. Currently she works at WXY Studio in Soho as an urban designer. She worked as Creative Producer and Communication Director of the online Art Festival 2020 organized by the cultural non-profit organization Living Away. Daniela lives in Brooklyn, where she is an active part of the arts & design community, being involved with several non-profit organizations that promote culture and more diverse and equitable cities.
